My friend, God longs for us to have the peace of Him, so that He can lead us and guide us. Of course, we cannot have the peace OF God until we have peace WITH God, and this can only come through us being reconciled with Him through the cross.
When we come to Christ and lay our burdens upon Him, He meets us and covers us, so that we may come to the holiest of places-- and that is into a personal relationship with God Himself. Together They come to live in us, and it is through His Holy Spirit that we can begin to be led out in peace, and following in step with God. He restores us, He redeems us, and He redefines us. Then we find that we come into a "place of rest" where God then speak to us....
Today, let God give rest to the weary. Today, let God draw you to Him. Today let God speak to you and lead you in the direction He chooses for you. Today let God bring you into all that He would have for you-- just know that sometimes this leads to mountain tops where we see His glory, and others times it is through valleys so that our faith may be strengthened. But ALWAYS He is with you.
For the word of the Lord is right, and all His work is done in truth... For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast.
(Psalms 33:4 & 9 NKJV)
Today's Verse for Feb. 11
Ephesians 1:11-12 (NKJV)
In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will,
that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.
Sovereign: His ways are so much higher than our ways. He is in the midst of all things. Nothing comes to us that hasn't been sifted through His hands first. He knows how to work things out in our lives (often times without us even knowing it).
