Listen in your heart as the Lord whispers to you,
"All that you need... I AM."

The Very Heart of Worship

When God led the Israelites through the desert, He was their provider, their guide, their protector, their teacher, and their deliverer. Whoever they needed God to be, that is who He was.
He does the same for us. God longs to draw us to Him and for us to know and to have a personal relationship with Him. In Hosea 6:6, God says, "I want people to know me more than I want burnt Offerings" (NCV). He has many names and many different characteristics. In Jeremiah 2, we read that the people knew scriptures but they fail to know God. Each of us will know Him in different ways throughout seasons and times in our lives. In Proverbs 2, God's Word tells us that if we search for wisdom like silver and "hunt for it like hidden treasure, then you will understand respect for the LORD, and you will find that you know God" (vs 4-5 NCV).

God says in His Word,"I will lead the blind along a way they never knew: I will guide them along paths they have not known. I will make the darkness become light for them, and the rough grounds smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not leave my people" (Isa 42:16 NCV); so we seek to take God at His Word. Join us as we follow God's direction along the pathway of faith to spiritual health and healing, while seeking to grow in our relationship with God through Christ. And in doing so, we will come to know Him more intimately while learning who He is and believing what He says.

My friend, let us hold hands in fellowship together as we worship God simply because: The LORD God Is God.

Jesus' promise is simple:

“Come to me,
all you who are weary,
and burdened,
and I will give you rest.”
~Matt. 11:28~

He draws you and He calls you.
Jesus said, “Come and see,”
and then He extends His hand
and invites you to come
and get to know Him.
His invitation gives us hope,
that all is NOT lost.

There is one body,
and one Spirit,
and God called you
to have one hope.
~Eph 4:5 NCV~
So what is a heart of worship? It is a heart lifted up to God in total adoration of who He is and what He has done for us. It’s where our hearts belong, in God. When Jethro, Moses’ father-in-law, came to see Moses in Exodus 18, the first thing Moses did was to tell Jethro all that God had done for them and what Moses had witnessed. And, the very first thing Jethro did was to praise God, and then the two men worshiped in thanksgiving. That’s what we should do, that’s what we are called to do: to worship God. (Read whole excerpt)

"So you will go out with joy and be led out in peace. The mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees in the fields will clap their hands. Large cypress trees will grow where thornbushes were. Myrtle trees will grow where weeds were. These things will be a reminder of the Lord's promise, and this reminder will never be destroyed."
~Isa 55:12-13 NCV
