Hello, and thank you for visiting our website.

Please note:
Cypress Ministries is a non-denominational ministry. We believe in the WHOLE Bible, and that the Bible is the Inspired Word of God. And as such, we base our whole ministry on His Word, and the principles that God has set in His Word. We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and it is on Him, that our foundation is built upon.

We desire to be an arm of the church, simply because we believe that as Christians-- we are the church, and not what we do or where we go. Nor does this ministry want to impose doctrines on others, but rather, we want to direct others to God Himself who leads by His Spirit and teaches us through the study of His Word.

We believe that we as Christians are the church, and that "the church is who we are... not where we go or what we do."
Christ-Like Friendship and Support

Holding hands in fellowship with Christ-like friendship as we learn how to connect the truth of God's Word with everyday life, while walking through the pages of His Word.

"You are My witnesses," says the Lord, "And My servant whom I have chosen,
that you may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He.
Before Me there was no God formed, nor shall there be after Me.
I, even I, am the Lord, and besides Me there is no savior.
Isaiah 43:10-11 (NKJV)
Knowing, Believing, & Worshiping who GOD IS, and Making Jesus' Name Known
Our statement of faith:

We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible, authoritative Word of God. Therefore, our ministry emphasizes the exposition of God's Word from Genesis to Revelation, line upon line, precept upon precept.

We believe that there is one God,
eternally existent in three persons:
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of Christ, in His Virgin Birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful humanity, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential, and that repentance from sin and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is the only way to come into a relationship with God.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life; we further believe His power and gifts are available to believers today. We believe the Holy Spirit gives each believer gifts individually ordained by God. We believe that not everyone receives the same gifts. We believe that we should work together using the gifts and faith that God gives each of us so as to strengthen and build up the "whole body of Christ". That "body" being God's Church. We Believe that God has placed Jesus over the church as "the Head" of the church. We also believe that prayers are to be prayed in "Christ's name" only.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they who are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they who are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

We believe it is important to obey the command from Jesus and uphold the scriptural practices of the early church. Therefore, we hold to the practice of a full body water baptism and the regular taking of Communion.

Core Verses:

Know therefore today, and lay it to your heart,
that the Lord is God in heaven above
and on the earth beneath; there is no other.
~Deut 4:39 ESV~

Jesus said I am the way,and the truth and the life;
no one comes to the Father except through me"
~John 14:6 NCV~

18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.  (Matt 28:18-20 NKJV)

25 “These things I have spoken to you while I am still with you. 26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. (John 14:25-26 ESV)

4 Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; 5 and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; 6 and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone. 7 To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. 8 For to one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, 10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. 11 All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills. (1 Cor 12:4-11 ESV)
