I believe and therefore declare:
It is in Christ that I can, I will,
and I am, living in victory!
God does not want us to live in defeat. Not after what His beloved Son went through for us to conquer the grave. God doesn’t want us living in fear, shame, or sorrow either! His Son died a horrible death so that we could be forgiven, healed, set free, and one day take our place in His heavenly kingdom, and be seated at His throne of grace with Christ, who has already gone before us and is now seated at His right hand.
A Victory Declaration: Repeat after me
I believe and therefore declare that Christ Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Him. It is by His stripes that I am healed, and through His death that I am set free and forgiven.
It is through Christ that I can come before the throne of grace, the most holy of places, and bow before Almighty God to claim the promise that the Lord is my God. I will hold firm to the hope that I confess because I can trust God to do what He has promised. I declare that it is in Christ’s name that I CAN live in victory.
God has not given me a spirit that makes me afraid, but a spirit of power and love and self-control. I know that it begins with faith, and it will end with faith, and that Christ Himself is the author and finisher of my faith. Grace was given to me through Christ before time began. And I declare that it is in Christ’s name that I WILL live in victory.
I believe that, as I learn to walk daily in faith, that God’s right hand holds mine and strengthens me. I declare that the Lord is my God, and He has said that He is with me and will help me. I declare that God is the one who comforts me, and hears my prayers and answers me. In faith, I believe that as I learn to walk daily in submission to God’s call and plan for my life, I will learn and know how to pray according to God’s will.
I will rest in confidence that since I know He hears me, He will also answer me. I know that if my prayers are in accordance with God’s will, then I also can claim the promise that if I submit my prayers in Christ’s name, then I can declare that I have received what I have prayed for in faith. As a result, my joy will be the fullest possible joy and glory will be given to God.
I hold to Jesus’ Word, that though I may have troubles in this world, I can also have peace because Jesus has already defeated the world. I know that it is not my battle, so I will worship in Christ’s name, and praise Almighty God because the battle has already been won.
I welcome God’s Holy Spirit, who has been sent to live in me. I ask His Holy Spirit to lead me and teach me, so that I may have spiritual wisdom and greater understanding and knowledge in my heart, so that I will also know the hope to which He has called me, and how rich and glorious are the blessings God has promised His holy people. I know that God’s power is available for those who believe, and I believe that this power is the same strength that God used to raise Christ from the dead, and place Him at His right hand in heaven.
I open the door to my heart and invite Christ in as my Lord and Savior. I hold firm to my faith that Christ is the Son of God, that I will be able to run the race set before me, and that it is not by my strength or might but by the power of God’s Holy Spirit. I will finish in victory, and I will sit at my Father’s table with Christ, who has already gone before me, having won His victory, and is even now sitting with my Heavenly Father on His throne.
I declare this day by faith that it is in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and the power of God’s Holy Spirit and His grace that I AM LIVING VICTORIOUSLY!
